Check whether 485 control line of the PTZ is connected to the DVR host correctly, and pay attention to distinguishing the positive and the negative (485+, 485-).

    Check whether the control protocol of the PTZ itself and Baud rate match with the settings of DVR host.

    Check whether the address code set for the PTZ itself match with the settings of DVR host channel (if it’s uncontrollable, adjust one address code forward or backward for testing.)

    Select “activate serial port keyboard” in the options “network settings” of embedded host, if multiple hosts are connected to the same PTZ.
